Hawaiians are navigators. Not only did we Hawaiians have a deep understanding of the ocean and current, but also of the stars and the movement of the moon. The moon (mahina) played a very important role in the lives of our people. Each lunar phase had a specific name in Hawaiian, and were associated with kapus as well as times for planting, fishing and gathering.
I added some Anuhea-perfectly-imperfect-hand-sewn flare (fuzzy balls) to this super cute crop top halter, showcasing 7 of the 30 Hawaiian moon phases. Also has my Anuhea patch logo on the back center.
This top is perfect with high waisted shorts, long flowy skirts, a festival look, or even a beach vibe. Poly/Cotton blend, I would hand wash and hang dry. :)
